Dan Lindblade of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce
Chief cook and bottle washer of a century young organization representing a diverse group of business interests.
Hobbies and/or non-work related activities: Playing my Taylor 414 CE guitar. Playing golf. Running.
“I’ve been a member of the Chamber of Commerce since… I was lucky enough to be talking to Richard Barkett, president and CEO of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, and he told me about the Chamber exec position being open. I drove over while on vacation in Naples for an interview and the rest is history.”
Something about you (inspirational/philosophical or something that no one knows): I am a sleep walking cookie eater.
Other Charities/Organizations you’re involved with: In my position you can’t play favorites. I support them all!
Why are you a member? or Why do you believe in the Chamber?
This organization has so much potential and opportunity to be impactful. I just want to play a small part in making a difference for the future.
What makes Fort Lauderdale such a great City to (own a business/live/work) in? The people. This is a community of individuals who really care about leaving a legacy. |
